The Columbia steamboat’s Wikipedia entry does not specifically state the vessel has been taken off the National Register, though the reference section at the bottom of the entry states that it has. Exact date is unknown.
The Ste. Claire steamboat’s Wikipedia entry notes the vessel was removed from the National Register only in 2024, a full six years after fire gutted the structure. There is no clear reason why an exorbitant amount of time lapsed between these events.
